Excessive shedding

I'm a first time gecko owner, but have had experience with reptiles as a veterinary technician for almost 8 years now. I've encountered many shedding problems/disasters along the way; a lot of them ending trajic. Well, my 1 and 1/2 year old (75g SHTCTB) male sheds every 2 weeks. It's like clockwork, I mark it on the calendar & everything. They are all normal sheds, with no problems, he eats it all & it all comes off at once. Is there such a thing as too much shedding? My vet tech instinct tells me that this means he is still growing. Any advice? Thank you.

Leopard Geckos should normally shed about every 14-21 days, and much of the time we don't even see it happen. It doesn't necessarily mean they are growing, it means their thyroid function and metabolism are functioning properly.

Mammals and warm-blooded animals shed their epithelial cells constantly... skin cells shedding in the millions and billions daily. Reptiles do not shed individual skin cells, but rather the entire epidural layer all at once.
