yea i figure its ok since the vermiculite is moist so not to worried about it any more especially since my eggs are lookin great. first time breeder she only laid me two clutches so far, and i think she might be done.

You may have a little too much water. I use a 0.5 (50/50) ratio of water to perlite, without any problems. I had problems using more water than that, so now I use less water, than is recommended in Albey`s method.

We do have very high humidity here in the summer, so it may have had something to do with it.

This is our first clutch of fertile eggs and we use vermiculite ( 1 part verm to .8 parts water) with temps at 88 and we have not had condensation. The gage on our therm. says it is 35-38% humidity inside. So far so good. I guess I will know for sure in a few weeks.
