those are referred to as "dead by now" .. sadly I think I am right, because they are so under weight and dehydrated looking they are loosing color.

The first image has a superhypo tangerine baldy and some patternless. The light ones in the images "look" like mack patty in a way, but I fear that's caused by the issues stated above.

It saddens me to see those images, especially the one you can see every bone in the tail.

Yeah, looks like SHT, Patternless (possibly Patternless Albino), and an Albino. It's too bad the owner neglected them so badly.

Its very sad.. indeed, I just spotted these guys and emailed the person with them, figured maybe they are healthier by now, no such luck, he is near by, I asked if maybe he'd be interested in adopting one or two out? No reply yet. Maybe I could rescue them from him, I dont know yet, he said he was keeping them for breeding :( But I asked if he would adopt them out to me.. Lets see what he says..

They won't live to breed unless he has gotten the poor little things fattened up and healthier!!!

OMG, poor babies!!! Keeping them on calcium sand certainly could be contributing to their physical condition... these little ones need to be rescued, housed individually, and treated by a vetrinarian ASAP!

(I would also like to know who has these geckos... please PM me.)

what expo... I would love to give him an earful !!

People go to jail for doing half that to children ,cats and dogs, so why is it ok to let a reptile suffer?

Don't let him guilt trip you into paying him anything, it kind of sounds like that's the direction he's going. Maybe he'll do the right thing and give them up. No one in their right mind would pay for those as pets or breeders at a reptile show.

People like that make me sick!!! I hope you are able to adopt them out cheaper or for free, so you don't support this guys pathetic attempt to make a quick buck :(

I'm still awaiting replies.. I tried to talk him into giving them to me, but he will NOT budge, I'm going to see what money is like. because I know they will be going to the vet, so I have to set aside some money for that, If I end up with the 5 I will probably fatten them up, keep them in my quarintene room keep them for a couple months, get atleast two vet check ups before they will be placed with maybe a tiny fee, just to make sure the owner is not just looking for a free Gecko you know. That is if he will let me adopt them! :/

I have seen tons of leopard geckos in worse shape not only "for sale" at an expo, but purchased by the people that go to them. People are always looking for "more bang for their buck", but most of them don't understand the difference between a healthy leopard gecko and one that is on death's doorstep. Of course, the person who is selling the "sickly" geckos assures the expo attendees that there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with them.. Sad.

This is sad indeed

If anyone wants an argument against the use of this substrate
The pics speak volumes :main_thumbsdown:

From the look of the geckos in the pics-
I would be afraid that they are all dead by now

pity.......
