So i love mu gecko and ive had her for over a month now i handle her once a week and all she does is try to run away from me she hasn't ever settled down for me and or cuddled with me does anyone have advice?
Welcome. I'll move your post to the proper forum, and I'm sure you'll get it right next time. Some geckos never settle and just don't like to be held much. Some may change their minds eventually. I breed leopard geckos and have been fascinated by how different they are right out of the egg. If you have a gecko that doesn't like to be held, you may have to find a different way to enjoy it. For instance, I have a gecko from last season for sale that also doesn't like to be held. She's very hyper and excitable. However, watching her hunt crickets is really fun because she gets so active and excited. She'd be a good pet for someone that likes watching the hunting and exploring.
It's important also to understand that geckos aren't like cats or dogs. They are very primal animals and don't have a concept of cuddling. Likely they just tolerate being held and enjoy the warmth that comes from being on a mammal's body.
Anyways, Aliza gave really good advice. Also, if it has only been a month, there is every chance she will settle down. If she is young, than she likely won't settle down until she is older. But just be patient. I have found it unusual to have a gecko that won't tolerate being held eventually. I had a hatchling that would screech and lunge at me every time I opened the tub, but 2 months later she is now completely calm and tame.
Ok thank you for the help currently she is shedding and in her hide that i made for her and seems content to be there because thats where all of her crickets usually hide lol
