Extra Sand

Ok. So.
Before I joined this site, I knew...well...not a lot about Leopard Geckos. I had my female on sand, no knowing it was potentially harmful to her.

Well, no worries, she's no longer on it.

However. I have a bit of extra sand leftover. I was wondering. Are any animals...er...reptiles...good on sand? Or should I just chuck it? I really don't know, I'd like advice.

Thanks in advance.

Well, I actually know what that is like. The petstore that sold me Kiya didn't know anything about leos. They sold her to me with sand as substrate as well. I have since changed that but found I have extra. We get really cold winters here so I use mine to put on the ice outside. LOL! At least that way I won't break my neck and have extra sand.

I made some small sandbags to hold down the probe of the thermostats. The geckos like sitting on them, like warm cushions! ;)
