eye infection?

Hello all! I've been a regular reader of the forums, but have yet to post! I figured it was time to since I may have a bit of a problem on my hands.

One of my geckos had recently gone through a bad shed, and I believe had some skin stuck in her eye. It had swollen up pretty good and she wouldn't open it. I soaked her for a few days, flushing her eye out with saline solution. Then last Thursday I got some Terramycin and have been applying that at least once a day (usually twice). I think I got the skin out of there, because she opens both eyes now, the only thing I still has yet to heal are a couple puffy spots. One directly under the eye, and another bump on the side of her face, right below her mouth. Are those just areas that are still infected? Do I just need to continue to apply the Terramycin, or could this be a bigger issue?

She hasn't had any lack of appetite. She has been eating like a pig! Even when she wouldn't open her eye. She is still very active as well.

Any advice you all could throw my way, I would greatly appreciate it! I can post a pic later on this evening if that will help as well.

Yes, a vet visit is in order, because if you got the shed out and she has bumps UNDER her eyes and somewhere else on her head, she might have an abscess. A vet can determine this and will tell you whether you need to continue with topical treatments, or drain it or so.

Good luck with your gecko!
