eye problem

My sunglow female is very healthy but lately her left eye has gotten cloudy. I did put with a male in a atempt to breed made he scratch her eye or maybe bit her im not sure, but does anyone what can cure this?

sorry no camera but i think infection is the problem like you said. But what can cause that and what are the treatments?

if it is cloudy it could be many things, infection, scratch, a stuck shed many things. first off i would try flushing out her eye with sterile saline and use a damn q-tip to wipe off any seepage or crusties or skin but do not push on the eye and do not force anything. after about two or so days if she does not start to look better you might want to take her to a vet to see if it is an infection or a scratch (which could lead to an infection), they will give you prescription medications to treat her eye.
