Eye problems

heys guys my MSS is having a bit of a problem with his eye.. i think he has somthing stuck in it like a small peace of debree or somthing. any way he cant open it very well now and i would say it is slightly swollen now. is there any over the counter products that are safe to use to help flush anything that may be stuck in there out??? if not i guess the best thing to do is to try and flush it with water and if that dosent work take him to a vet..... any advice on this guys???

I’d wash it out with water, and if the swelling doesn’t go down in a week after you flushed the junk out, make a trip to your vet.

I'd say a trip to the vet for some optothalmic antibiotic is in order.

thanks guys im making an apointment for Wed, the problem with the eye realy isnt that bad right now bairly noticable besides the fact that he wants to keep i closed all the time. besides that im not going ot give it the chance to become a major problem so im taking him in wedsday, thanks guys

o and also im thinking he may have had a very very very tiny peace of shed that stayed right on the rim of his eyelid and thats what is causing the problem. that was brought to my attention by okeereptiles. i though i got it all off because his last shed he had problems getting the shed off from his eyelid....

well guys i was able to dodge a bullet there the vet visit wasnt needed i was able to take care of it. he dose however have a very very very small notch on his top eye lid that is retaining the smallest peaces of shed and thats where the problem was, any ways i did the eydrops and that shed moistened right up for me and i got it out. this will be somthing i have to watch every time he shed but thats ok im willing to do that for my future studd lol. thanks for the help guys i realy appreciate it :main_yes:
