Eye Shed Stuck (same old rescue story)

So I know that we all have heard the story before about the reptile in the pet store someone just had to rescue and we assure them how bad of an idea that is. Well when my girlfriend starting crying because the leo with the stuck shed would die if we didn't help it I gave in (trying to convice her otherwise of course and telling her that even if we tried to help it there were no garuntees).

So I now am in this position of having a leopard gecko that has shed still stuck to it's eye(s). I soaked it for a while and then read in another place to put it in a container with wet paper towels for 30 mins then if the shed it loose help remove it with tweezers. All went great accept some of the shed remained stuck to the leo's eyes? What do I do now other than providing all the right head parameters and a moist hide?

I got a leo in similar condition and what i did was get a small container with a lid, put a few tiny holes in the lid, paper towels in the bottom, spray the inside of the container with hot water, put the leo in and shut the lid. This creates lots of humidity that should loosen and soften the skin.
