Eye wont open all the way

So I left on Friday evening for the weekend, and when I came home today I noticed Sparky had his right eye kind of shut, the other open. I took her out, to take a look, and then she opened it. I put her back in the cage and now she is doing the same thing. Before I left it looked like she was going to shed. Could something have happened? Can I put somthing on it if it is dry. I just saw her lick it too before.. Thanks

Kiki has been having some major eye problems related to shed stuck in them. it sounds pretty similar to that. I took her to the vet and he was able to get some shed out of her eye that i couldn't even see in there.. so it could be something like that

Last night I have been putting dabs of water on a q-tip and dabbing it above her eye, and misting her a bit. it seemed okay fo a while, but then this morning it was half closed again. She keeps licking it too. Can I put something else on it instead of water. She is a leopard Gecko..

likely stuck shed. We have a few leos that deal with that frequently. It is somewhat of a pain.
