Hey everyone, I’ve got a question about one of my hatchlings…
Most normals i’ve hatched so far fade in a couple of weeks, turning them a bit lavender.
Like these,

This usualy happens in a week or two. (pictured above where exactly 2 weeks old)
So far so good, I guess you’ve all seen this...
But here’s the thing. One of this years hatchlings doesnt really fade. She was born on 31st of may. Which makes her 5 and a half weeks old. It looks like her bands are painted on with some tape and a marker. I’m sure some of you will have hatched similar animals. What do you guys think?

This is her,

and from the other side (dont mind the paper...)

That is cool! Reminds me of albinos that are never cooled, so they have solid bands instead of markings. I would keep that one and see if that pattern stays into adulthood. A permanent hatchling pattern morph would rock.

I've seen them like that before. It looks like it's starting to fade now...I can see spots coming up. I bet in a shed or two it'll look more like what you're used to. (The sides are pretty cool looking)

trust me the gecko will hypo out. it will have more of a tang color than the others. i have hatched many like this is the past. it's no new special morph. some tangs and hypos start out like that

Great, thanks guys...

I've had a few hypo's before, but they never started out like this...
We'll wait and see!
