I just recently got one of these geckos and was just wondering if what the setup I have is going to be fine for him. I just bought a 10 gallon tank with a Exo-Terra water well, driftwood, hiding place, mistimize conditioner, Fluker's freeze dried meal worms and zoo med's reptivite and also I bought Flukers humidity and temperature gauges as well.

They told me that baby food is a good variety for them to eat as well. Is this true? If so what kind? I bought squash, chicken and peaches.

This is kind of the wrong place for this, this belongs in the other geckos section. Im not really to familar with fan footed geckos, as far as I know their care is similar to flying geckos which I have kept. They are aboreal so the more height the better, They wont likely drink out of the water dish, but since you got it already, you can just leave it in their if you want. You will need to mist the cage good atleast once a day to help with hummidity and for drinking, their likely going to drink of the sides of the tank. Defently make sure to have lots of cover and hides. For heating go with an nocturnal reptile bulb(infared etc..) or even a regular house hold bulb will work. Their are several gecko species that will eat fruit(babyfood), not sure about the fan footed geckos, my skunk geckos eat it. You can try it, dont go with the chicken, you want fruit, I give my skunk geckos peaches and bananna ones.

hope that helps :)
