Seperated the male from the females just over 3 weeks ago now, i knew the male had got it on with the tremper but wasnt sure about the female normal. The tremper has laid 2 clutches, 1st clutch just the 1 egg that went bad after 12 days, 2nd clutch laid 2 eggs 15 days after 1st clutch, both eggs look healthy although when candled can only see bullseye on 1.

The normal hasnt laid anything yet but she is looking very big and i think i can see eggs in her belly but im new to this so not 100% sure. Should she have laid by now if its been that long that she was with a male????

Is she still eating? If so, she is not ready to lay her eggs yet. If she has not eaten in awhile, losing weight, or is lethargic, she may be egg-bound. Usually it is infertile eggs that get cound, and some of the resons for egg-binding are as follows:

- lack of appropriate place to lay eggs
- female is too young/small to lay eggs
- eggs are too large to pass
- calcium deficiency
- stress

Cheers for that.

Not sure if she is still eating, tmoz gonna try her in a seperate feeding tub. She is still pooping as i saw her having 1 after i gave her a warm soak (giving her 1 daily). She has gotten bigger over the last 2 weeks and doesnt seem to be lethargic, spends alot of time in moist hide over warm side but catch her out at night time.

-There are 3 laying boxes between the 2 females, 2 of them are moss and 1 is vermiculite.
-Not sure how much she weighs but it is more than the female that has already layed and she is older.
-Maybe the eggs are too large to pass
-2 pots of calcium available at all times in the RUB
-Similar sort of setup as the 1 they were in before i got them only the 1 they are in now is alot bigger and lots more hides available.

I think your issue here can be the stress factor that Marcia pointed out in her post... I would separate the female from any other leo... Sometimes females can be funny like that and refuse to lay if there are other geckos present...
