Lil ones eating mealworms currently, larger than lil ones (sub-adults) chomping on superworms and dubias roaches. Only 1 of my leos will chomp on dubias roaches at the moment, I'm trying very hard to introduce it to my others heh. So for the rest of them superworms do great for them, and yes I do pinch the heads since I've seen them bite one of my leos before.

I like mealies and supers since they're pretty hardy. I usually rotate between those two, with crickets for 2 - 3 feedings every couple of weeks.

I'd like to try phoenix worms, but as someone else mentioned, they are pretty small and I've heard more stories about geckos hating than loving them.

If I could get silkworms and/or roaches locally, I'd probably be all over that.

Ok now I know there are numerous threads and polls on this but mine is a bit different. People always say the phoenix worms are good but sooo expensive, so they stick with supers and crickets or mealworms. Now if money wasn't an option on feeders what would you chose as the best diet for the leos?
I planed on mixing phoenix worms and supers. I can get the phoenix worms for $7 dollars here for 100 count or 400 for $20.
Combos are allowed for the ppl who mix feeders seeing I know the best diet is one that varies.

crickets, silkworms. mealworms and superworms can cause too many digestive issues.

I thought it would be phoenix worm crazy up in here. Guess I was wrong

I consider them excellent because they are naturally balanced. The problem I have is I am not sure if my leo can't see them because they are too small or if he ignores them for whatever reason.

we just feed our gecko mealworms, she used to eat crickets but not she cowers away from them like they scare her, so she just eats mealworms now, we used to give her an occasional butterworm or waxworm, but she just got back onto eating after a longggg fast, so we dont want her to get addicted to waxworms, and I dont know if they can get addicted to butterworms? maybe someone could answer that please
