Im sorry to constantly bother you guys about the KSB. Im still new to the whole snake thing and i know its something im doing wrong.
Her current feeding schedule is 1 fuzzy every week. I thaw them out and make sure their warm. I use tongs to feed and keep it moving in front of her until she hits. She will either take it in her mouth carefuly or just strike it and coil. I feed her in a container, i wrap the outside in a blanket so that she feels more secure. Ill wait until she has the mouse and then back off, and check in every 5-10 minutes. She HATES being watched. understanable. So, ive fed her around 4 times now and its been a ordeal each time. It takes 2 hours normaly. Today, i spent 4 hours. 2 in the box where she repeatedly took the mouse but then droped it. Then 2 in the tank(i know, not smart but i was worried) She was prowling all day for a meal. I eventualy got her to strike it and she took up a more unusual pose for eating.
im guessing she was aiming for leverage. The fuzzy is a little bigger then her usual(it had a belly, thats for sure).. Any tips on feeding? Would scenting it somehow help?
