I have mostly fed my cresties crickets for a while now but i am starting tofeed them CGD/baby food but i dont how or where to place it. I have a naturalistiv vi with alot of plants and such but the geckos always hang on the large piece of wood in the middle. Should i place it here in a container or directly on the wood or what?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

check out pangea.com they have a magnetic cup holder you can place at any level of the cage. Also, checkout repashy forums, they have an enormous amount of info on rhacs.

For my cresteds and gargs I just put the cgd in a disposable cup and place on the bedding. When they are hungry they will find it.

They can smell it anywhere you put it and will find it. It's best if you leave out the baby food. CGD is already a complete diet and baby food will just dilute it.

If you want to go cheaper you can go to P e t c o or their online site and look for Kritter Kindom bowls. If you get the small 99 cent ones, the 1 1/2 inch portion cups fit perfectly and you can just discard them when they are dirty instead of washing all the time.
They are made for food and water bowls for small animals and will be with the water bottles for ferrits and rabbits.
