just a few feeding questions.....
$3.20 for 100 3/4 inches. good price or bad?
a mealies only diet is fine, right?
i was told that full grown leos need a pinkie every 3 weeks. true, or no?
how many mealies does a full grown female who isn't breeding eat a day?

thanks for the help!

IDk about prices, but mealie only diet is ok but u would be better off adding crickets in becasue of the mealie shortage. If u run into a mealie problem u can switch to crickets and not have to worry about the gecko not taking to the crickets since it has already had them.

Pinki's are mainly used for breeding females to help keep their weight up and are somewhat like waxworms, but fattier, so should not be fed often.

Let teh gecko eat till its full. I have crickets and a dish of mealies in my adults cage at all times. with my babies I always have mealies in there and feed crickets every other day.

Mealies survive and thrive better NOT in the fridge. If they are in the fridge they die faster. put them in a container with gutload(food) and some type of fruit or veggie for water. I have mine in oatmeal mixed with ProGeckos gutload(look him up on members) and use red apples or carrots for water.

Hope this helped :D

No leopard gecko NEEDS pinks... some keepers like to feed them (including myself) occassionally. But that is a personal choice.

A mealworm only diet is fine, provided the mealworms are gutloaded and dusted. However, variety is the spice of life and I do believe there are benefits to be gained from switching it up every now and then. You could try silkworms, phoenix worms, waxworms, roaches, etc on occassion.

As for how many mealworms an adult gecko could eat... that could vary wildly from individual to individual.
