I know she isn't around much anymore, but I wanted to let you guys know she may be in labor right now. She's been contracting since this morning, every 5 minutes. She was checked out at 1cm, 40% effaced, and -3 station. They sent her home because she wasn't showing any progression. She may be in for a slow labor, but it looks like this is the real deal.

She's not quite 34 weeks, so Tori will likely be in the NICU for a bit.

If something changes, I'll let you guys know. Last I talked to her, she was going to *try* to take a nap, then maybe take the dog on a walk to see if that would get things moving. She's got instrustions to call me if anything changes. She's doing good so far, doesn't really seem too worried.

Correct. :main_yes: I'm kind of surprised that they aren't giving her anything to stop the contractions, since she's only 34 weeks. Any updates?

No, no updates. I haven't heard from her today (I was working), so I assume she's still laboring. I thought it was odd they aren't trying to stop it too, but apparently the Dr/hospital policy is to stop between 20-34 weeks. Because she's right at the 34, I guess they don't find it necessary.

Her contractions stopped last night, so she's still baking. They don't think she'll last more than another 2 weeks.
