Sorry i did not know a right title, i was wondering i have one female Enigma gecko called Chibii, and a male who is two years old. I want to bring them together. I tried it yesterday but my male went biting her in the tail. Then in the neck. (normal) Can they bite the tail off from my female and should i worry about that, can i keep them in the same enclosure? Even when the male wants to mate?

You can keep them in the same enclosure (male and female) under these circumstances:

--the male and females are both receptive to mating and you are receptive to incubating, hatching, housing and feeding babies

--neither seems to want to mate

--the male tries to mate, the female rejects him and the male stops pestering her

Any other circumstance (e.g. you don't want babies, or the male won't leave the female alone) indicates that you have to separate them.
