Ive been thinking about housing my 3 females together during the off months of breeding.

Has anybody done this? if so, what size tank do you recommend? and what other things should i know?

I'd say a 30 gal with plenty of hides. When you house them together you have to make sure they all get to eat. Some Leo's will dominate the food not letting smaller/weaker ones get their share.

Many people feel strongly that leopard geckos should only be housed individually, but I keep my geckos in small breeding colonies (1.2) during breeding season and during my (short) off-season, I keep 2-3 females together so I can separate the males for awhile. I use the equivalent of 20 gallon long (30x12) with an additional 12x12 heated second level and 4 hides. It's been working well for at least the last 5 years.
