A friend of ours remembered that we were looking for another gerbil to live with Norm and Lola, so he picked one up for us. Unfortunately, she's a different species or something and she's about twice their size and the three definitely DON'T get along. We have them separated now but we don't have another water bottle for her or anything so she's got to go quick. If you know anyone in the area or if you're looking for a gerbil, I'm sure she'd make a good pet for somebody.

We also have a 10 gallon tank, cage topper and running wheel we could sell you if you don't have a place for her already. $30 seems like a fair price for all the cage-type items. Obviously, the gerbil is a free adoption.

Thanks, guys.

Did he give you a Degu? They look like gerbils but are bigger, more rounder and have a squirrelly looking face. I like to say they have the body shape of a chinchilla, the fur and tail of a gerbil, and the face of a squirrel. XD

Nope, she's not a Degu. It's just that Norm and Lola are still on the smallish side and I'm not convinced they'll get very big. Whereas Hunny (her new name) is much older, quite full grown, and a bit overweight. We found her a new home, though :)
