Female laid only 1 egg

Hi guys,

Need your help, mi Raptor female laid only 1 of the 2 eggs she was carring, she laid the first on the 03/15 and I thought, as this is her first time, that she might needed some time but I am starting to worry for her health is there anything I can do?????

It's ok,
sometimes they will only lay one egg because the other one gets absorbed. Is this her first season?

I wouldn't be worried since it's her first season. Just watch her and check her tummy to make sure she doesn't look egg-bound. Good luck!

You would be able to tell if she were egg bound. It looks like they are full of giant white eggs from neck to tail base usually. It's pretty common for first year females to lay single egg clutches even if it looks like they're are 2 eggs. The other one you saw inside her may just be the next one forming.

Our tremper giant only laid one big egg her first clutch but her next clutch was 2 normal sized eggs.
