Female laying in her humid hide?

My girl has laid both clutches in her humid hide. The first clutch was no good because I did not put a male with her. I have a lay box with damp moss and I have tried putting it on both sides of the cage but she has no interest in it. When she lays eggs in the humid hide they get stuck to the hide and are hard to get off. How can I get her to use the lay box?

EDIT: This is the first time that I bred her

Maybe U can take the humid hide out for a little bit when they are not about to shed. Then the female would lay the eggs in the lay box.

I actually use vermiculite for our lay boxes, and just make sure that there's vermiculite in both the humid hide and lay box. Since I did that, both of the female we breed this year lay only in their lay box.

My intention is for the leopards lay in their humid hide, in the damp sphagnum moss. It's where the girls have become comfortable and made their nest. If eggs stick to the bottom, sides, or each other, I very gently work them loose, with the help of a fine water mister. It takes patience.

I dont know what type of substrate u have on the surface or what u are using for a humide hide.If u know shes about to lay why dont you put damp vermiculite in her entire cage and that way if she has no choice but to lay in the vermiculite and then you can just collect them,so in theory you are making the entire enclosure a lay box

Just take out your humid hide and just have your lay box or fill your humid hide with sphagnum moss and have 2 lay boxes. I use cocoa fiber and love it. Sphagnum moss tended to mold on me quickly.
