Hi, so about 7-9 months ago I bought this gravid female leo from this breeder. She layed the eggs 4-5 days after I got her, they were infertile, incubated at 90 with just little mold in the bottom after about 40 days they were bright yellow with no veins, so I opened them up and they were in fact infertile. So now she has 2 pinkish/whitish oval things in her belly which im guessing are eggs so are they gonna be infertile or ?? Cause I put her with my male and she didn't do anything just stay still, NO ACTION the tail didn't lift up but the male was interested then 2 minutes later he wasnt soooooo? WAT DO I DO WILL THE EGGS BE FERTILE ??? IS THIS A PROBLEM???

Did you leave the female with the male, or did you put her in with him and watch then after nothing happened you took her out? If you separated them after seeing nothing was happening then they will be infertile. but if they were still housed together while you weren't watching they may be fertile.

Many first time breeders lay some infertile clutches in the beginning. If the female you bought was gravid by a fertile male, she may eventually lay a fertile clutch, so one thing you could do is just wait through a few clutches and see if you get a fertile one. I had a similar situation last spring: I bought a female from someone that was supposed to be gravid by a male that may have been a juvenile. She laid 3 infertile clutches and then I decided to breed her with one of my males. I mostly decided this because I suspected the original male was not old enough to "do the deed" effectively. She didn't accept the new male at first but I finally got them together right after she'd laid a clutch. She eventually laid 4 clutches with the new male and 3 of the clutches hatched.
