Are you sure you have a male and a female? This is how males simulate there presence as a male. Be careful...

well my proven female shakes her tail back and forth when you rub her back and rubs all over my leg. so it is possible a girl can do it. maybe when excited! im guessing my girl is excited when shes rolling half over to rub on me while i rub on her.

if you want ill get it on youtube and try to get it on here with the breeder that sold her to me thats in here to confirm its a female

well if they are two males then they are getting along fine... not fighting or anything but my female is yes shaking her tail really fast like a rattle snake... i only observed this behavior when the male was first added she is not doing it anymore.

Agreed...any way you can get close up pictures of their bellies?

If they are two males, they will fight, regardless of weather you witness it or not...the day you come home and find a bloody mess you will agree with me...if you are unsure, your best bet is to separate them until you know for sure what's going on...

whenever i place something new in the tank with my female or i rearrange oe whenever she feels something new and licks it she wags her tail back and forth. But she is albino so during the day she walks around with her eyes closed since her eyes are sensitive to light. maybe she senses something new in the cage and wants to make sure its safe to settle down.

Wagging there tail is one thing, Shaking it so fast that it rattles is the sign of a male. I have never seen a female shake her tail so fast it vibrates or rattles.

yeah me neither. my one mail shakes his tail fast when he's catching crickets. get us some belly shots of those two and i would keep them separated for now.

A week after breeding, I introduced my female to the male again for "control mate" (they mated just before my eyes a week ago) and she started to shake her tale and run from the male. So I guess she just doesn't want to breed, which is strange, because she is ovulating right now...
oh, these gecko's!! they have to be "in the mood"))))

the thing about this. is that they never said shakes it like a rattle snake so we dont know if thats what they mean. they could mean just a wagging the tail back and forth

My male shakes his tail before he pounches on a cricket this is the only time he shakes his tail, I find it interesting that some shake their tail for other reasons thats funny

The person DID say it was similar to a rattlesnake, not just wagging, I think that's why folks are getting concerned...see quote below, or re-read thread...
