Picked up a pair of eggs that were laid just last week to move them to a separate container, and noticed that the bottoms are beginning to dent in. Eggs candle with a bullseye still. If anything, the perlite is too damp. Why would they dent like that and how could I fix it?

If your sure your humidity is high enough I would give them a little time to hydrate. They are not sitting in water are they?

No, they're on very moist perlite, though. There's about 1 cm of water in the bottom of the container, two inches of perlite, then the eggs. The eggs aren't sitting in water.
