So my first clutch of created gecko eggs where laid June 16th and they where looking good tell I checked them and I seen that they where turning brownish on the bottom. Most of the time threw out there incubation I've seen a cheerio that was getting bigger but now sense they started to turn brown underneath they kind of diapered except for a couple red lines on the side . I'm gonna keep incubating them but does anyone that has experience know weather or not they there still good or did they go bad. Is it normal or not? Im using hatchright as the incubation media and while wet its kinda dark brown so I thought maybe it could be that bit when I couldn't see the cheerio in them anymore I started to worry . anyone ?

I was told that your sniffer should know. If the eggs smell rotten, they're probably bad. If they smell like dirt, earth, or even just questionable, leave them alone. Definitely candle them. Any with mold toss. They could spread mold to healthy eggs and kill them. This ends my experience lol.

Definitely hang on to them until you are absolutely positive they aren't going to hatch! You just never know what might happen! :) Good luck!
