The first image was .5 second too late and the second was .5 second too early, but who's complaining! Those eggs shoot out like a rocket once she gets them started!

I had a dead battery on my 8 frames per second Canon 1D unfortunately, otherwise I'd have had some great images :(

Vermiculite. It's all I had at the time of making up a quick laybox, I took her box away 3 weeks ago because I thought she was done.... guess not!

hahhaa, that is so cool. next time try to use the multipicture one where for sports, you take a bunch of pictures in a matter of seconds.

I own a 1DMKII and 20D in CANON , but my brother has my 20D right now and the 5 ID batteries are discharged. I don't use them much lately and take gecko images with a cheap fuji digi that cost $100 3 years ago.

I had the easy job ;) and it was very cool to watch. She did look to be half asleep as if she was in a trance and shook a bit while pushing. Her breathing was deep and deliberate too.

I thought it was just a cool as hatching my first egg too!
