what is the ratio by weight for vermiculit, i asked this question like 2 but sitll got mixed answers..

Edit: for # 2 option its not suppose to be a decimal, its suppose to be :

I have a simple way
And thats 1.1 Ratio with Vermiculite. For example if you put 50 grams of vermiculite in your container,tare, and add 50 grams of water .

I've tried weighing the vermiculite and then adding that much water, but I never get it right and usually have problems. I've gotten pretty good at just eyeing it. Weighing and worrying about getting it accurate always messed me up. But, I'd go with 1:1

I've gotten used to eyeing it as well. But when I was weighing, I was doing 1:1 for vermiculite (in the lay boxes), but 0.8:1 for perlite (in the incubation boxes). I always measure for the perlite in the incubation boxes though, just to be sure it's exactly right
