FINALLY A VACATION! WOO-HOO!!!

[Golden Gate Geckos]

It's been a l-o-n-g time since my husband and I have had a 'real' vacation together, and thanks to Jacy Colen and her mom Connie (GF members) who will be taking care of the Golden Gate Geckos next week, we are going to Playa del Carmen, Mexico!!! It's a small resort area about 40 miles south of Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula, and we will be staying at the Royal Playa del Carmen. Yeah, baby!

We have a day planned to go to the jungle and see the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, a ferry boat trip over to the island of Cozumel, snorkeling at Maya Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world, and a visit to Xel-Ha (means "where water is born"), the largest and most beautiful natural aquarium known. We'll have plenty of time to hang at the beach on the blue Caribbean sea, drink margaritas at the swim-up bar, shop, eat, and sleep in!
