Poor clutch mate! Say, does the living hatchling have a double eyelid deformity? Maybe I just can't see it right because of the shadow, but it looks like it has no upper eyelids (??). If so, you'd better not breed it, because the it could be genetic, who knows, especially when the clutch mate died of unknown reasons although being fully developed and not underweight for its stage. Maybe something going on here... (?).

sorry about that man. i came home to a babies nose sticking out of the egg, but no movement for several hours. decided to slit the egg and see if i could help, and it was dead. was from our afghan bold halloween mask project too. sucks when you lose or have to cull the little ones.
