First babies afghanicus

Sweet babys :main_thumbsup: i woder if them occasional babys no matter what you do that just won't seem to grow at the avridge leo size has anything with having (afghanicus) blood ??.

A&M gec's if you get a spare 5 minutes could you do a adult female typical (non giant) leo and a adult female (afghanicus) leo side by side.

Sorry for the late reply but I have been very busy. Here is a female afghanicus laying eggs at 30 gr. and a normal female about 60 gr.

Thanks for the pic!

Have you done any outcrossing and if so how does the afghanicus' size effect the outcrossed hatchlings size?

I have only done it with the raptor this year and the oldest babies are still young and I do not know how much more they will grow yet but I will update on this.

I look forward to crossing them into my various spotted/speckled projects (I noticed most afghanicus have lots of yellow speckling) ...

afghanicus? can i just ask, what is that excatly? is it actually genetic? sorry but i never heard of it before

Look at post (23) in this thred there's a photo of a full grown female (Afghanicus) beside a full grown typical regular female leo.
