First breeder, Hawkeye (E. m. afghanicus, Ramsey's Reptiles)

I'm very excited to report that I've received my first breeder-quality leopard gecko! Just had to post this on my lunch break. Chad Ramsey's afghanicus line caught my eye earlier in the year in the Breeder Shield auctions, and I knew that I wanted to pick up a male for outcrossing morph projects.

The little guy arrived this morning via FedEx. I've decided to call him Hawkeye. Here are a couple unboxing pictures, and one vastly better picture from Ramsey's Reptiles.

Thanks, everyone! I'm really in love with the compact body type of the afghanicus subspecies.

Hawkeye's been amusing me by patrolling his new home and investigating any odd noises. Guess I chose the right name!
