So here is my First ever hatchling leopard gecko. He is a SHTCTB Het: Albino x R.A.P.T.O.R. He has 100% red eyes too. This is my first hatchling ever and I'm so excited. He is fairly active so far but we'll have to see how he turns out in a week or so.
Here are some pics.

He has a small unabsorbed yolk I think in the picture below. Look by the elbow of his front leg.

beautiful!! looks like its gonna be a nice hybino, the red eyes would likely fade in the next few weeks because it has only one copy of the eclipse gene from the RAPTOR parent, i ve seen the same thing in many tremper albinos that hatch with solid looking eyes but they fade soon with age

Congrats! Is it a yolk sack?
That is what I believe but I am not positive, I don't think it is an intestine because he is a couple days old and probably would have perished if it was. he may still need to absorb it fully if it is a yolk. It looks like a small red tube that can dry up and harden but when it gets wet it softens. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you, I checked on him today and he looks as if he will be shedding soon, so maybe the anabsorbed yolk will come off when he sheds. Still if anyone has any ideas of what it is or what I could do about it that would be great.
Thanks, Noah

Update, the litle guy at yesterday at around 7:00 pm he had shed that day. he ate two extra small crickets and a small mealworm and was done. Just a quick qestion how many times a day should I feed him and how much food items per feeding?
