I was doing my cleaning this morning enjoying my day off and sleeping in!! I thought I would check to see I had any eggs laid last night, and I thought well I'm going to check the incubator and seen 2 little dark things in it!! I was so friggin happy it's not funny yelling through the house LOL.. Also this was her first season and these are the first eggs she laid and they were fertile!!

Anyways here they are I'm sorta confused because they appear normal?, does anyone know what they could be? I'm including pictures of the parents so yall can help me determine what they are.

Parents: SHTCT, and to my knowledge they are not het for anything.

Congratulations!!! They look very healthy and beautiful... I can see the tangy color in them already!
You think so? I mean I am no expert at hatchlings ya know and it kinda was a shock when they didn't appear "tangy" I know they change quite a lot as they grow though..

Thanks Marcia!

Oh yeah I forgot to add something about these

They were layed on 1/7/07 and were hatched today so that is 47 days and the incubator temp stays right at 80-81 degrees, is that odd or what?

I think you meant 57 days. Thats about right, 60ish days. We got ours on 1-9-07, and at 82/54 days the first hatched. We're still waiting on the clutchmate.

Congrats! Just wait until they shed a few times, they'll just get more orange and less banded every time. I love their nice long tails.:main_thumbsup:

Very nice looking hatchlings. They will probably look like mom and dad when they are full grown. Your going to love watching them grow and change.

he hee i have pics! First pic is the first day I got this girl. The second is about 2 weeks later. Now Ive had her about a month and she looks more like the 3rd pic, not the same gecko in the third pic, but i dont have a recent pic of the lil girl.

I agree with Marcia. They're high yellow at the very least. And Mom and Dad are two of the most beautiful SHTCTs I've ever seen pictures of. You can be Very Happy with all of them! They're Awesome! :main_thumbsup:

WOW That is quite a big difference!! I have bought small geckos before, but never had a freshly hatched one so I'm not to familiar with what certain morphs look like when they are this little ya know? But as closer inspection tonight they both have a little strip of carrot I can see in the tail, that of course my camera isn't going to catch.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments ;)
