So I'm not hatching any geckos, but I did hatch my first batch of mealworm babies!! I was starting to think it was never going to happen and today when I went to throw out the substrate that had the eggs, I saw a bunch of baby worms at the bottom! So how long does it normally take until they are large enough to feed? Thanks! :D

Wow! Four months? I didn't think it would take that long. Is there any special diet I should feed them? Or does the carrot and oatmeal work with them that small?

Mine take about 2 months to max out in size. I am feeding grains, chicken scratch, carrots, and potatoes. If you want to make them grow faster ALWAYS have good fresh food in their and they will grow...also ensure the temps don't get too cold or it may stress them which induces pupating and slow down the growth of the worm (affecting overall size before pupating).
