My dog sitter was awesome enough to send me a cell pic of my first two hatchlings! I can't wait to get home Friday night and see them for myself! They should be Hypo Trempers that are het for eclipse from a Sunglow x RAPTOR pairing! I'm super excited they look healthy and are feisty buggers (or so I'm told) :)

I (obviously) managed to survive the wait and finally made it home! Not sure if they've gone through their first shed yet (I doubt it) but I might have to spam this thread with picture updates as they grow...haha. Can't wait to watch them!

@ Thad - they're out of the Sunglow male and Raptor girl I got from you.

Thanks! Bright orange would be awesome! They're hungry feisty little buggers too! I put about 40 medium mealworms in there and the little one ate at least a dozen of them for her first meal. Once i got her to stop standing on tip-toe, screeching and lunging at my fingers You could see them all in her belly...it was pretty cool! They are definitely a hoot...haha

Only two weeks later and they've doubled in size! I'm almost sad they don't stay teeny longer!! They have a new teeny sister that hatched this morning and should have a second by tomorrow. That still gives me tiny things to fawn over at least...haha

Tweedle and Dee, first two that hatched, are just about a month old now and 12g and 9.5g. They're getting big, stripes are fading fast and their orange keeps getting brighter! Dee is in the first picture.

Their half sister Jen, a pure sunglow, joined the world on Thursday. She's one shed in and looking super orange. The second picture is of her :)

Here they are today on their 6 week birthday! Tweedle @ 18g has a bit less carrotting on her tail but is a tad brighter orange. Dee has a whole lot of carrotting but it's not quite as intense an orange (she might be getting ready to shed, I'll haveta keep an eye out for it). They're very sweet and calm for babies. Still not 100% but I might have to keep them both.

They are so ugly! You don't want those in your collection. But don't worry, I will take them for your sake.
Just kidding... They are gorgeous.
