Hi! My female mack snow raptor had her first mate 5weeks ago and she don't want to lay the eggs. About the second week after the mate she ovulate again but the eggs growed (I don't understand it) and I put back the male again, but I don't know it was a good or bad. Now the eggs are big and as i wrote she is in the 5week. Becouse it's her first it takes more time or what is it? I don't know these things therefore I ask it. Sorry my English.:p Thank you in advance!

I have had it take a long time sometimes. What looks like eggs can sometimes be the fat deposits in the belly. As long as she seems active and comfortable, just keep waiting.

Yeah one of my girls was pregnant for about that time, and then the babies hatched really quickly, (only were eggs for about 1 month) and both were males so it wasn't a high temp thing producing hot females. I wonder if the long pregnancies mean the babies are farther developed when laid, and don't need to be incubated as long?

She is in exactly 5weeks and 2days now. I give always calcium and d3 for her as much she want. The eggs are big, and she looks good, she don't loose weight or anything and she has good appetite too. I will put up a picture of her belly today unless (I hope) she will not be long to lay the eggs. Thank you guys!
