First mating of 2011

Just witnessed the first mating of this years season. MS Enigma x Raptor.
Going for MS enigma het raptor x raptor next year.

But anyway, it was a little weird, ive seen plenty of matings (make me sound a bit weird lol) but this one was strange, he penetrated and got into position and started erm... thrusting, but then like he stopped after about 5 or 6 thrusts... normally they take like 30 secs to 1 min and a half for me, ive never witnessed a mating so short apart from ones where there was no proper copulation.
So, really... do you think it worked? lol.
Do enigma's finish quicker or anything? lol.
Or was he just being lazy this time around?

Congrats on the lock up. Maybe he is just a two pump chump. Allow him another opportunity to breed again if you want to be more certain.

Well yeah ive left him in, and he's tried again since but didnt watch so hopefully he lasted a little longer. lol.
im gonna leave him in overnight again, and if the female is doesnt start producing eggs anytime soon, i'll re introduce.
