Our 2015 Leopard season has officially started with a pairing from our OSE Project (Orange Striped Eclipse). Not the greatest quality image but "Alpha" is our stud male from the project and the larger of the two animals seen on the left @ 87 grams. The female is an exceptional 2014 girl from the project seen on the right @ 62 grams.
Here is a brief description of the project:
The look is similar to a Bold or Red Stripe without either of those bloodlines in the lineage. We are also asked quite a bit if there is any W&Y or "G" Project influence in the lineage and the answer is no. This project is simply a line bred variation of Eclipse that expresses orange side stripes on a pale yellow body. In addition the project animals express no black pigment anywhere on the body other than the tail. Any spots that appear on the head or body vary from a bright orange down to a dark burnt orange but no black. This project began as mission to create my own het free "line" of Eclipse. The founding animals were Eclipse pos het Tremper but to date (going into generation #4 with the project) with 75+ offspring produced including testing to several visual Trempers, not a single Albino has been produced. We are not quite ready to jump out and label them as het free...... but we are slowly getting there. Hopefully by the time we are ready to advertise them as het free the OSE Project look will be distinct enough and consistent enough to be considered it's on line.

Love them both! It's a great project. Every so often I produce one very similar, but I've never really tried line breeding specifically for it. I do love the look though. Any orange on eclipse makes me happy.
