How old arsenals python when they have their first shed?

There's someone on Craigslist selling one that is 54 grams and hasn't had its first shed.

The person did not incubate it either.

54 grams is very small even for a hatchling. Our hatchlings average about 65 grams. Did the person say why they are selling it?

Most snakes will shed within 7-10 days after hatching. If he didn't hatch the snake out, then either it hasn't shed since he has had it, or the person that gave it to him sold it straight out of the egg (which IMO is irresponsible). This also means that, more than likely, the snake hasn't eaten anything yet either.

It has eaten one pinky. The person did not hatch it.

I quit talking to the person, as I did not find the entire situation right.
