first time breeding..... i think

Ok tonight I was looking over one of my females to see if they happen to be ovulating.Well I didn't really know what to look for, but it looked like she was, so I put her in with a male well he latched on to her,and he put his tail up to hers like I see in the breeding pics I see so I think they bred.So now what do I do put her back in her tub or leave her with him and if she did get bred how long till I get eggs.
