Hello there! Im new to the forum. I have been worried about my female leopard gecko. Ive had her for about a month during which she has been fine and eating well. I feed crickets and mealworms dusted with the appropriate supplements and calcium. Two days ago she went off her food and started acting very strange and digging up the eco earth in her moist hide and trying to climb all over the tank at odd hours of the day and night. I noticed she has two large white oval shapes underneath her belly and from what ive read it seems she might be gravid? She is young but it seems she has reached the appropriate size to be able to produce eggs. There is no male in the tank so they wouldnt be fertile. Im just unsure what to do as Im a first time gecko owner.

Where did you get her from? Is there any chance she was with a male before you got her?
As far as making her comfortable, if there's at least an inch of eco earth in her hide, she'll likely lay the eggs in there.
As far as what to do with the eggs, if she was with a male they could be fertile. How to incubate them is too long for one thread, so do some forum searches and googling about breeding and see what you're willing to do. If she was never with a male, the eggs are infertile (most geckos don't lay eggs without benefit of a male, but some do) and you can toss them.

It's likely that she will lay a pair of eggs every too weeks for awhile, so be prepared.
