I'm very new to leopard geckos i did some research on them though before getting one. Now that i have one and a tank completely set for it. I got superworms because it's the only thing i saw other than crickets at the petstore. I didn't want crickets because of the noise it makes. So my question is, is it okay to just feed it superworms or do i need other insect in its diet? I should also add that it is a juvi leo and the super worms are large, it ate one yesterday but today doesn't seem very interested.

I have an older gecko thats feeding soley on supers. When she much younger she was getting supers, mealworms and crickets. When their young they need the best nutrition, imo a variety diet is key. Also be sure you are providing the proper calcium, D3 and vitamin suppliments. The gecko will probably eat the larger supers, but if you worried about it getting bit you can simply behead the worm before feeding.

Supers are a good staple feeder. Definitely feed them a well balanced diet so the nutrition is passed to your gecko as well. I would also suggest trying to feed a variety once in a while. For my geckos I alternate between supers and dubia just to change it up a bit. Don't forget to dust with supplements as well! :)
