So my scale finally came that I ordered. So I decided to take pictures. I noticed that both of my geckos have the orange coloring around their tail a little bit...I dont know if that is genetically significant or not. Also, I know it is still too early to tell but I really think Ripsi may be a boy. He has bigger head and I can see his pores better than on Gypsy and he has bulges. I guess I can just change his name to Rip? lol. :main_laugh:

At 25g you can usually tell the sex fairly easily. See if you can get an "underneath" pic and we can help you out. They look nice and healthy! Oh, and they can breed at that size which is really dangerous so make sure you have them housed separately.

Females can start ovulating as small as 20g so it's really important to get them separated. If small females become gravid the can have a lot of complications which can be fatal or shorten their lifespan.

Okay. Should I use a cage divider so they will not become strangers? I hate to separate them completely since they have been together since they were tiny and they seem to enjoy each others company (sleep side by side).

I would definitely divide the tank until you determine the sexes for sure. Putting them in separate tanks would be even better. They won't miss each other, Leopard geckos actually prefer being housed singly. They usually sleep in the same hide because there's only one hide on the warm side. Anyway, try to get some pics so we can be sure that they're not both females.
