I keep my two leos in the same cage, and have since I got them. Both are over a year and are appropriate weight to breed. My female laid her first clutch August 2nd, and has laid a clutch every few weeks since. When will she stop laying? Do i need to separate them? Usually when i separate them even just for an hour to do tank cleaning they appear to go through separation anxiety and try climbing the walls or making noises and acting frantic so i dont really want to separate them but I dont want my female to become exhausted from laying to much. Any advice would be great..
thank you

that isn't separation anxiety for sCenting the tank since you cleaned it. Better to separate less stress on female

I believe that females separated from the male after breeding may lay an average of 3 clutches or so due to stored sperm. In general, she'll stop laying when she's done; it could be as many as 10 clutches. I agree that they aren't having separation anxiety as Chris says above.
