I found this awesome link on another forum for a DIY humid hide. So much better looking than a tupperware container! (Which is what I'm currently using...)

Yeah! That's exactly what I said! How cool right?! The only thing brought up to me today is that the moisture inside the wooden hide constantly may cause mold to form in the wood.... any thoughts?

I would probably worry about mold possibly being on the wood, too. When I was at the pet store this weekend they had 'faux' half logs like this made of ceramic for turtles for this very reason. You could apply the same and put some touches on the outside if you wanted it to look better.
