Flex watt heat tape question

I recently installed about 4 feet of the flex wattheat tape onto my rack to provide heating and when i was all finished I asked myself "Oh #@%$ does one side heat more than the other, do i have to re-do this?" So as one can see I am a little curious as to whether both sides of flexwatt emit the same amount of heat. Is this indeed the case or does one side emit more heat

Any replies would save me a world of frustration, thanks

O allright that is a relief to hear. I didnt want to have to re-install it not the most fun thing to do. I dont have the 4" wide ones though I have the 11" wide ones. Does this make a difference?

What type of reptiles are you housing? If it is leopard geckos you will need a gradient temp from 95 - approx. 70 degrees.

If you have snakes, I have no idea :main_huh:

As long as the temp ranges from 95-70ish you will be fine. The 11" heat tape is a little overkill. Do you have pics of your setup?
