ok so i have this decent enclosure consisting of like 6 enclosures 8ft l x 3h x 14 deep. has glass sliding doors on all the fronts. now i was wondering about heat. i dont wanna put pads in the enclosures. and cant/dont wanna use lamps. so im gonna have to use heat tape. im not sure where to get the best deal on a decent amount (6-8 inch wide foot long pieces). ive never used heat tape. can you cut it to fit? can you run them all together to be the same circuit and one thermostat per side? connectors? total kit packages? and was wondering if i put the tape directly on the individual enclosure floors...it will burn the wood right. ex wood bottom-tape-ceramic-ceramic tile. someone told me to put sheet metal on the wood then tape then tiles. im totallly new to tape and dont wanna waste money buying another set of 10 individual heat pads that all need another 4 thermostats. any help with locating cheap tape or a better source of information on it would be greatly appreciated!!
