I am planning on making a rack that will house 24 sterlite 6qt tubs. There will be three tubs on a shelf. I was thinking that either flexwatt or heat cable would work good. I just had a few questions on flexwatt. I know you buy it by the foot and then cut it to size, I also know you need to use the metal conector peices, but where do you get the wires that connect the multipul stips of tape? http://www.redtailboas.com/flexwatt/Flexwatt_parallel.pdf

that is the diagram that I am going by. So all the strips of flexwatt are coneected using "mystery wires" lol, and then they lead to a plug that goes into a standard outlet? That stuff is confusing... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm no electriction by any sorts but i think the grey and black are your possitive and negitives/ then you would want to put on a grounded plug. From what i have read and such there are thermostats that you can buy so you can maintain certain temps. The diagram that you provided is actually excellent cause i had no clue myself on how to connect that. i have alot of questions regarding rack systems and breeding as well as feeding and such. i guess its more of just a confirmation that i'm doing things right.

i hope this helped you,

Thanks,

Ryan
